Count Sheet Options

Use this field on the RPI report to specify the format and amount of information that print on the count sheets.

• D = Insert a blank line between each line of information.

• N = Each time the sequence changes, start printing on a new page. If the Subtotals field is Y, an area for entering a manual proofing total prints in the lower right corner of the page.

• J = Do not print the prepage.

• M = Print the manufacturer part number. Use this option if the items you are counting are labeled with the manufacturer's part number instead of the SKU.

• O = Print count sheets only for those SKUs whose Quantity Counted field or Manual Diff field has not been entered in Physical Inventory Posting (PIP) or Function QPIP (Quick Physical Inventory Posting). You may want to use this option to determine if you missed any count records during the counting or posting process.

Note: Unposted SKUs will remain in the Count File unless you use Reconcile Option R to remove them.

• Q = Print the beginning quantity on hand. This is the quantity on hand of the item at the time the system loaded it into the Count File. If you don't want employees to see this information, do not use this option.

• S = Print two lines of information for each SKU. The information includes:

• • department

  • SKU

  • description

  • class

  • location

  • fineline

  • date of last sale

  • date of last receipt

  • date of last physical  inventory

  • stocking and selling unit descriptions

 X = Print one line of information for each SKU. The information includes:

• • SKU

  •  description

  •  location

  •  stocking unit code

• 2 = Show two blank columns & picked qty. This is useful for Pick/Pack/Ship users who do a lot of "release for picking" and hold the picked merchandise on-site for will- call. Since those items being held in will-call are still included in Quantity on Hand (QOH), having the amount of QOH that is picked and waiting in will-call is helpful in counting and reconciling to the expected QOH.

• 3 = Print three blank columns of lines. (Since you typically use Option S, which takes up two of the blank columns,  only one blank column usually prints.) Use this blank column to manually record the inventory counts.

• If you have already posted counts for up to three locations and you also use Count Sheet Option X, the       locations print in the right portion of the line.

• If you have already posted counts for up to three locations and you also use Count Sheet Option S, the       locations print beneath the line.
