This field in the Add/Change/Delete User dialog is the name (User ID) that this person will use to signon to the system, and the User ID you use to assign security bits in the Security Maintenance window. This is also the clerk ID entered at POS.

This field is alphanumeric. You can enter a maximum of 10 letters, or numbers, or a combination of both.
