What Is the True Value Rewards Club (TVR)?

The True Value Rewards Club (TVR) is a loyalty program designed to reward frequent True Value shoppers. TVR allows customers to earn points that can be exchanged for rebate coupons called TVR Reward Certificates that they can use toward future True Value purchases.

Once a cash customer has signed up for the TVR program, the customer receives a card with a TVR identification number. The customer presents the card at the time of purchase and the items he/she purchases are linked to his/her TVR card number. Charge customers can also be TVR members. They are not usually issued an ID card because the system automatically knows they are a TVR member. They can be set up as full members with both points/discounts or as limited members with just discounts. This is determined by the ID number provided by True Value.

TVR purchase information for both cash and charge customers is sent to True Value, using Epicor's "Vistaâ„¢" data collection service. Customers earn points based on the amount of their purchases. Four times a year, True Value converts all earned points into a TVR Rewards Certificate and mails the certificate to the customer. The TVR Rewards Certificate can be used at any participating True Value store.
