You can run the End-of-Day Sales Totals Report (RDS) with any of the following options:
F = Final Run (delete files). As each record is processed, the system deletes the daily clerk and terminal information created at POS. Note: If you use Option F and you have not run Backup or Shutdown with today's date, the system will prompt "WARNING: THE STORE IS OPEN. BE CERTAIN YOU WANT OPTION F. ARE YOU SURE? Y/N". The only time you should enter Y is when you are adding RDS to an end-of-day queue while POS is active.
C = Close Cash Drawer
D = Suppress Department Data. The summary page of sales totals by department will not be printed.
R = Reprint Previous Report. If your printer failed during the night's processing, you can use this option to reprint this report anytime before the next backup is run. If you spooled this report, then you would use the Spooled Report Maintenance window to display or print the report.
