(COM or PPS users with UPS WorldShip Integration)
With UPS Online WorldShip (UOWS) integration, you can export Eagle for Windows shipment information to your UOWS Station. After you process the shipment in UOWS, information about the shipment, including tracking number and freight charge, will be automatically imported into Eagle for Windows Point-of-Sale.
The topics in the Set Up UPS Worldship Integration book contain the setup procedures necessary to enable integration between Eagle for Windows and a UOWS Version 9 shipment station. All instructions and sample screens in this book are based on a Windows XP Professional installation. Other operating systems may have slightly different options than those presented in these topics, but the installation process will be similar.
The procedures in this book assume the following:
You have a fully functional UOWS Version 9 station installed at your location.
The UOWS station is connected to a functioning internal network.
Windows file sharing is available on your local network.
You have administrative privileges on the UOWS station and can create network shares.
The Eagle for Windows client machine(s) that must communicate with the UOWS station are on the same network as the UOWS station.
The Eagle for Windows client and Eagle server are on a level of software that supports UOWS Integration.
You understand the network security policy established by your company.
You have a basic understanding of Windows.
