This field on the Stocking tab of the Inventory Maintenance window is the quantity (in stocking units) on future orders.
The system uses this field when it calculates suggested orders. When you create a future order in the Purchasing and Receiving window, the system increases this field. When you receive merchandise on a future order, the system decreases this field.
Tip: For a list of the POs that make up the Future Order quantity for a particular item, display the item and then click .
You can do either of the following, if desired:
To view a Future PO from the list, use the down-arrow to highlight it and press View Doc.
Press PO Viewer to display all purchase orders containing this SKU.
