Multistore users: If the Keep Prices the Same in All Stores field in Options Configuration (or Function MIC) is Y, the market cost is master data. If the field is N, the market cost is store-specific data.
This field on the Pricing tab of Inventory Maintenance is for Lumber/Contractor POS users only.
This is the cost per purchasing unit. For example, you purchase this item by the 1000 BF (board foot). Enter the market cost as the cost per 1000 BF. This field is for L-type items (Record Type field is L) only. This field is numeric. You can enter up to seven numbers plus a decimal point. For example, 1234.567.
The Receiving Report (RRP), Option F updates this field.
