This field on the Pricing tab of Inventory Maintenance is the price per pricing unit. You can enter up to seven numbers plus a decimal point. For example, 1234.567.
Multistore: If the Keep Prices the Same in All Stores field in Options Configuration (or Function MIC) is Y, retail is master data. If the field is N, retail is store-specific data.
If you leave this field blank, the system calculates the retail price based on the replacement cost and desired gross profit % that you enter. The Item Price Changes window updates this field.

Lumber users only: This is the price per pricing, stocking, and alternate unit. The system calculates the stocking and alternate retail for you.
Ace Catalog users only: If the item displayed is an Ace item, clicking the "Retail" hyperlink will display the Selling Prices window, which includes recent promotion prices. Within this window, you can click the Recent Promotion Prices hyperlink to display the Promotional History Viewer.
