Replacement Cost.
Multistore: If the Keep Prices the Same in All Stores field in Options Configuration (or Function MIC) is Y, replacement cost is master data. If the field is N, replacement cost is store-specific data.
This field on the Pricing tab of Inventory Maintenance is the cost per stocking unit. The system uses this field in many calculations, such as inventory turns.
This field is numeric. You can enter up to seven numbers plus a decimal point. For example, 1234.567. If you leave this field blank, the system calculates the replacement cost based on the retail price and desired gross profit % you enter.
The Item Price Changes window (accessed from the GoTo menu in Inventory Maintenance) updates this field.
