Multistore: This field is store-specific.
This field on the Codes tab of Inventory Maintenance determines whether this item is on promotion.
P = This item is on a regular promotion.
L = This item is on a loyalty promotion.
If the item is on both a regular and loyalty promotion, the code will show a "P"
C = Post this item as a credit in POS. You must also set the Location field to CRED.
Blank = This item is not on promotion.
If you enter a promotion price on the Pricing tab of Inventory Maintenance, the system does not update this field. Therefore, this field can be blank and the item can be on promotion.
The system puts a P or L in this field when you activate a promotion with the Update Promotion Price Report (RUP), Option F. The system clears the P or L when you end a promotion with RUP Option F.
