Use this field on the Codes tab of Inventory Maintenance to indicate the tax rules for this item.
Y = This item is taxable. If you click No Tax in POS, the system does not tax this item. Otherwise, this item is taxed based on the customer's tax code in Customer Maintenance.
N = This item is never taxed.
A = This item is always taxed (based on the customer's tax code in Customer Maintenance) even if you click No Tax in POS.
The default is Y.
