Eagle supports various loyalty programs for co-op business partners (for example, True Value Hardware, Do it Best Hardware, and Ace Hardware). These programs were designed to interact with a third party back end loyalty fulfillment program. This functionality was built into Eagle to support setup and collection of loyalty information on Eagle. However, the POS transactional data is transferred to the co-op business partner’s back end loyalty fulfillment system for data analysis and loyalty fulfillment.
In the past, you had the ability to set up your own custom loyalty program, however it only allowed you to perform the basic setup and collection of data. You still had to pass the data to a third party application for data analysis and fulfillment.
Over the past few years custom programs have been written to meet the needs of these custom loyalty programs.
The Eagle Loyalty program is a combination of these various programs to offer a complete and self-contained loyalty program. Specifically, it includes:
