You can look up parts in POS by using one of the following methods:
If you enter the line code and part number, and then press Display or Enter:
If a matching part record is found, Eagle selects the part and proceeds with posting. The line code can be entered into the Line field, or preceding the part number in the Part field either with or without a space between the line code and part number. The compressed form of the part number (i.e., dashes removed) is used for this search.
If multiple matching part records are found (a rare situation), Eagle displays a list of Line Parts found that match the line code and part number you entered. Choose the desired part to proceed with posting. The compressed form of the part number (i.e., dashes removed) is used for this search; the list displays the part as it is in your system.
If you do not know an item's SKU number, you can look it up in POS by using one of the following methods:
