In this field in the Purchasing and Receiving window, Populate this field with a dollar amount that will be applied along with the Per and U/W to determine the expected freight. For example, if the vendor will charge $4.00 per hundred weight to deliver their merchandise, this field would have a 4.00.
Per- defines how the Freight Factor is applied: by Cubes or Weight. If you choose to use cubes, then the U/W (unit of weight) field is deactivated. If you choose to use weight, you must select a valid U/W.
