Use this field to set the cost to a specific dollar value and optionally recalculate the retail price.
Use the first column (Set Cost Amount) to set the cost amount and the unit of measure of the items to which the new cost applies.
The field is numeric. You can enter up to seven numbers and a decimal point. For example, enter 1234.567.
In the U/M field, enter a valid unit of measure (as set up in the Unit of Measure Maintenance window).
For example: For all items sold by the foot, you want to set the cost to 1.25. Enter 1.25 in the first field and FT in the U/M field.
