If you enter a percentage in the Weight % field, the system uses the sales history in the To Date field in Inventory Maintenance, the History tab, to calculate the order point. This field in the Order Point Report (ROP) represents the number of weeks since the last time you cleared the To Date field in Inventory Maintenance, the History tab, by:
running Report ROR (Restocking Order Report) with Option F
running Report RIH (Item History Report) with Option C
clearing this field in Inventory Maintenance, the History tab.
If you want to use To Date sales in the order point calculation, you must:
Enter the number of weeks in the Weeks field.
Enter the weight percentage in the Weight % field.
