This Inventory option in Options Configuration allows you to customize how the Next Item button works when you are in the Inventory Maintenance window (and optionally in the Point of Sale window).
This is one of the optional criteria fields. Use it to further limit the SKUs that display when you click Next Item.
Enter a manufacturer vendor code in this field. The code must exist in the Vendor File Maintenance window.
For example:
You want to display only SKUs with a manufacturer vendor code of XYZ and you want the SKUs to display in department order.
Enter XYZ in the MFR Vendor field and enter D in the Inventory Key field.
This field is alphanumeric. You can enter up to five numbers and letters.
