This Inventory option in Options Configuration allows you to customize how the Next Item button works when you are in the Inventory Maintenance window (and optionally in the Point of Sale window).
This is one of the optional criteria fields. Use it to further limit the SKUs that display when you click Next Item.
Enter a popularity code in this field. Popularity codes are from the Popularity Code field in the Inventory Maintenance window, the Codes tab.
This field works in conjuntion with the Popularity Code Exclusion field. Set the Popularity Code Exclusion field to N if you want to include only items with the Popularity Code you entered. Set the Exclusion field to Y if you want to exclude items with the Popularity Code you entered.
For example:
You do not want to display SKUs whose Popularity Code is A in the Inventory Maintenance window.
Enter A at Popularity Code field, and enter Y in the Popularity Code Exclusions field.
This field is alphabetic. You can enter one of the following letters: A, B, C, D, X
