If you entered a Y at Assign PO Numbers Automatically, this Purchasing option in Options Configuration is required. This is the number that the system assigns to the next purchase order.
For example:
If you want the system to assign the number 200 to the next purchase order you create, type 200.
When the system assigns the number you enter to the next purchase order, it adds 1 to this field.
For example:
You enter 200 in this field. The next time you create a purchase order, the system assigns the number 200 to it. Then it changes the Next PO Number To Assign field to 201.
This field is numeric. You can enter up to five numbers.
