Tax Amount

This field in the Maintain Tax Codes (MTX) window is required if you are using a tax table (the Tax Table field is C or R). This is the sales tax that applies to sales up to the amount in the Max Sale Amount field. This field works with the Max Sale Amount field to determine the sales tax amount.

This field is numeric. You can enter up to four numbers plus a decimal. For example, 12.34.
