Document Scanning Queue Field Help

(Optional) Use this field to control batches of documents in the staging area (the Document Scanning Queue). If you defined the staging area as a network share, so that anyone with access to the share can view documents from other PCs, you can specify a "batch name" for each scan job you create so you can easily identify your data.

(Optional) Use this field to name the document so you can easily identify it in the Document Scanning Queue.

This field is also used to group documents together with respect to page number. If you use Barcode Recognition and you enable it during a scan, this field is filled in automatically using the document number.  For example, if you scan a five-page invoice,each page will have the Invoice Number as the Document Name and the page numbers will be set correctly.

When you scan or import multiple pages, the system assigns a page number to each page.

For imported documents, this field is the actual file name of the document.

For scanned documents, this field is the file name assigned by the system.

This field indicates whether this scanned document has been annotated. (Note: imported documents cannot be annotated)

This field inicates the physical size of the scanned or imported document, in kilobytes (KB)

(Optional) Assign a Document Type if you want to associate a scanned or imported document with an Eagle application. Then, from the associated Eagle application, you can view the document.

Document types include: Customer Order, Inventory Item, Mixed, Other, Purchase Order, Vendor Invoice, Customer Invoice, Estimate, Customer Special Order, Packing Slip, Pick Ticket, Transfer, Customer Credit Memo, and Backorder Pick Ticket.

This field indicates the date the file was originally created (imported documents) or the date the file was scanned (scanned documents).

This field indicates the time the file was originally created (imported documents) or the time the file was scanned (scanned documents).

This field indicates the user who acquired (scanned or imported) the document.

This field indicates the terminal at which the user acquired (imported or scanned) the document.

If the document was scanned, this field indicates the resolution in pixels of the scanned document. This field is blank if the document was imported.

This field indicates the customer number you assigned to this document.

The job number for the customer you assigned to this document.

Use this field to assign a Document Number to a POS document or a Vendor Invoice. Later, you can do a lookup for all POS documents or vendor invoices with that number and find it.

This field is not validated against POS.

This field indicates the vendor you assigned to this document.

This field indicates the store you assigned to this document.

This field indicates the PO Number you assigned to this document. This field is not validated since it is possible that the PO may no longer exist.

This field indicates the SKU you assigned to this document.

These fields indicate any codes you assigned to this document.

These fields are used by barcode scanning if you purchased automatic attribute assignment.

This field indicates the comment you assigned to this document.
