Online help is available to provide you with the information you need when you need it. It helps answer your questions, gives you the steps to complete a procedure, or helps define a term. Online help is provided in a text format where you'll find text help in topics (like the one you are reading now) and also by using the index and search tabs.
Text help is provided in topics that are accessed by clicking a book and then clicking a topic. Or you can access topics from the Index and Search tabs. Within a topic, you might find:
Popups— A popup is a small window that displays on top of the currently displayed help topic. Popups are often used to define a term. You'll know a popup is available when a word is underlined. If you see an underlined word, move your cursor over the word until your cursor changes to a hand. Then click on the word. The window displays. To close the window, click anywhere in the window. To view an example, click on the word popup.
Links (also called hyperlinks)— A link allows you to quickly and immediately move from the topic you are currently reading to another topic or to a different location within the same topic. Often while reading an online topic you will see a phrase like this one, "Click here for more information." The word "here" is underlined and when you click on the word "here" it will open another topic. To return to the topic you were reading before you clicked the hyperlink, click the Back button at the top of the topic.
Related Topics— When you click a Related Topics button, a list of topics related to the topic you are currently reading displays. You can click on any of the topics in the list to display the topic. You'll find a Related Topics button at the end of this topic.
Back button— At the top of the topic window is the Back button. Use this button to return to the previous topic. This button is useful if you jump to a new topic (such as by clicking a link or selecting a topic from the related topics list) and want to quickly and easily return to the topic you were just reading.
Top— This is a hyperlink that you'll find in some of the topics. The word "Top" will be underlined and if you click on it, you go back to the top (beginning) of the topic. To see how this works, click the following:
