Ace: Mango Integration

Eagle can now pull count sheets directly from Mango systems and load them into Physical Inventory Posting (PIP) screen. By doing this, it eliminates the need to either import a spreadsheet, or manually type the list into PIP.

Setup

  1. Run Osprey utility ACEQMNGO.

  2. For a time to run the job, select the time between noon and 4 p.m. We suggest using odd times (not on the hour) so the contracts to Mango from all of the Ace Eagle servers are spread out.

  3. Once this job is run, a new row ‘MANGOAPI’ is added to SEQ. This job will contact Mango at the specified time to see if there are count lists available.

Integration

When Eagle contacts Mango, and finds there is a new count list available, the following will happen:

  1. The new count list will be pulled into Eagle, and loaded as a count list into PIP.  The count list will also be assigned as a directed count list to any users that can do RF counts or modify PIP. This is controlled by security bits 423 'Add/change/delete physical inventory counts' or bit 863 'Mobile Inventory: Access/Update Mobile Physical Inventory' being turned on. The count list will be named with ‘MANGO’ as part of the title, so they can easily be located when clicking on the item list dropdown in PIP.

  2. If there were any old uncounted items from prior Mango lists, those will be removed from the Eagle, and included on the new count list provided by Mango.
