Use the Physical Inventory options to customize how the Physical Inventory (PI) application works on your system. For example, some of the options determine whether or not you want to activate the Shrinkage History File, which keeps a record of all incidents when shrinkage has occurred. You can specify which of the following types of shrinkage history you want to keep:
Quantity-on-hand changes made in Inventory Maintenance
Quantity-on-hand changes made in the PI subsystem
Defective merchandise returns from POS
From the Eagle Browser, type MPI in the Launch bar and press Enter. The Physical Inventory Constants display in Options Configuration.
Fill in the Current Value field of each option, and then click Change.
Note:
If you enter a Y in the first two options (the "audit" options), then you must set up the "audit report" to run.
From Options Configuration, set up option 9795 "Smart WinPIP item lookup by SKU, UPC, Mfg Part," and click Change.
Option 1623 "PIP-Default view for the Inventory Viewer" – The View that will be used when the viewer is opened within PIP for creating lists.

Option 1625 "PIP-Reconcile Options to use in RPI when printing from PIP" – The default Finalize Options that will always be set when finalizing from PIP.
