A Price Factor is a multiplier you want the system to use to mark up or down the selling price. For example, if you sell pipe by the foot, but give a price break on ten-foot lengths, you could enter a price factor, such as .8, and the system will calculate a price that is .8 (or 20% less) of the price of 10 individual feet (the system multiplies the price of a foot by .8 because you're giving a price break that is .8 times the "foot" price.
