Assigning Retail Devices

You can assign retail devices, which allows access to them by the character-based Eagle POS software (not Epicor Eagle™ POS for Windows).

To assign a retail device in Network Access

1. On the Options menu, click Retail Devices.

2. In the Serial Port # box, type the communications (COM) port number the retail device is attached to on the PC.

3. Click the devices that are attached to the PC.

4. Click OK.
