Creating Quotes/Estimates on the Posting Screen

Use the following procedure to create a Quote from the POS Posting screen.

Note: To create a quote/estimate, you must have security bit 76 "Allow orders, special orders, and quotes in POS," and bit 563 "Allow quotes and estimates."

1. From the POS Posting Screen, click on the toolbar.

2. On the Start Transaction menu, click Estimate/Quote.

3. Enter or change customer and transaction information, if necessary.

4. Press Enter.

Go to the topic "Posting Items to Saved Transactions."

Tip

If the toolbar is not visible, then on the Action menu, choose Start Transaction.
