Setting Up Loyalty Options

Use the following procedure to set up the options that affect your loyalty program (Ace Rewards, True Value Rewards, Best Rewards, etc.).  Note that Epicor must have activated option 1182 "Loyalty Program" in order to use the Loyalty program for your vendor.

  1. Display the Options Configuration window.

  2. Click ID. In the dialog that displays, in the Option ID field, type the option number from the list below, and click OK. Click in the Current Value column, and select the desired setting. Repeat this process for each option in the list.

  3. ID# 320 "Print Savings Line on Receipt Printer." Be sure to set this option to No.

  4. (True Value members only) ID# 1044 “Enhanced TV REWARDS Loyalty on System

Important: Only set this option to Yes when True Value has officially announced that retailers can do so.

  1. (True Value members only) ID#3251, 3253, and 3255 must be set to Yes.

  2. (True Value members only) ID# 9197 "Display TV REWARDS Customer Attribute in POS Customer Details Window" should be set to Yes.

  3. ID# 3530 "Customer Loyalty - Use code position to identify non-asterisk accounts"

  4. ID# 3531 "Customer Loyalty - Code value that identifies non-asterisk accounts

  5. ID# 5010 "Change customer when entering loyalty # at end of transaction." You should set this option to C.

  6. ID# 5011 “Prompt for loyalty ID at 'end' should display when?"

  7. ID# 9130 “Additional fields to include in POS Customer QuickAdd

  8. To use the True Value Real Time Integration, be sure to set the following options:

  1. Once you've selected a setting for all the options, click Change on the toolbar.
