Other Options

Use this field in the Suggested Order Report window to specify how the information prints on the Suggested Order Report (RSO).

A = "Abbreviated Report Format (Large Format Only)" – This is for Large Format users who are finding the font size too small making RSO difficult to read. When RSO is run with Option A, the report detail line prints: Line #, Store, SKU, Description, Mfg Part No, New Order Qty, Stk U/M, QOH, QOO, Order Point, Max Stock Level, Std Pk, Order Multiple, Current Month Sales Units, Last Month Sales Units, YTD Sales Units, and Last 12 Month Sales Units.

C = Create purchase order (PO) for secondary vendor.  Use this option if the PO is for the secondary vendor.

You must also:

If you don't use Printing Sequence 2 or 3 and you don't use Order Calc Option M or V, the system ignores the order multiple and standard package.

E = Insert the suggested order quantity into the New Order Quantity field in Inventory Maintenance, the Stocking tab.  If you don't want to create a PO but want to save the suggested order quantity, use this option.  You can't use this option with Option F or W.

F = Create a final PO. The system:

If the PO is a future order (order type F), the system updates the Future Order field in Inventory Maintenance, the Stocking tab.  You can change and receive the PO in the Purchasing and Receiving window. If you use this option, you must fill in the  page. This page is identical to the Header Screen in Purchasing and Receiving.

G = Delete Part List. Use this option to delete a part list selected in the Part List field to generate the order. See Part List field help.

I = Check to see if the item is overstocked in other stores.  This option is only for multistore users. The system checks the inventory of all other stores to see if the item is overstocked in another store. An item is overstocked if the quantity on hand is greater than the order point (or maximum stock level).

If an item is overstocked in another store, the following message prints below the description:

Item Overstocked In: Store X By Y. (The letter X represents the store number. The letter Y represents the overstock quantity.)

If you use this option with Option F, the system still places the item on the PO, even though it's overstocked in another store. If you decide to use the overstock, you can change or delete it from the PO in the Purchasing and Receiving window.

Q = Queue PO for later Transmission. Use this option to queue the Purchase Order to be transmitted when a vendor’s system “polls” your Eagle for purchase orders.

R = (Pick/Pack/Ship users only) Print Reserved/Released quantity instead of Current and Future Order Quantity.

U = Update the Last Phys Inv field in Inventory Maintenance, the Stocking tab, with the date you ran the report. If you will count and update the quantity on hand for every item on this PO, use this option. If you also use Select Option P, the system updates  the Last Phys Inv field for every item on the PO in the From and To range you specify, even if the suggested order quantity is zero. Therefore, if you aren't going to do a physical inventory of every item on the report, don't use Option U and Select Option P together.

V = Ignore Vendor Minimums. Use this option to ignore purchasing minimums configured in Vendor maintenance.

W = Create a temporary PO. The system creates a status T PO. You can change the PO in Purchasing and Receiving, but you can't receive it. The system does NOT update the Qty On Order field in Inventory Maintenance, the Stocking tab. However, if you print the PO with the Purchase Order Format report (RPO), the system:

If you use this option, you must fill in the  page. This page is identical to the Header Screen in Purchasing and Receiving.

X = Transmit PO Now: Use this option to transmit the Purchase Order immediately.
