This field in the Add a User dialog box is the user's password.
If you enter a password, it only displays when first adding a user record. The password doesn't display at any other time.
This field is optional.
If you add a password to a user record, the Signon Screen will require the password. If the Check Password At P.O.S. field is also set to Y, the clerk will not be able to post transactions until the correct password is entered.
This field is alphanumeric. You can enter a maximum of twelve letters, or numbers, or a combination of both.
