Changing the Customer Number or Job Number

Change Customer Number/Job combines the functionality of Legacy functions CCN and CCJ into one application. You can change the customer number, even if the account has jobs associated with it, or you can make the customer account a job account for a different customer account.

Changing the Customer or Job Number

  1. From the Eagle Browser Launch bar, type CCN or CCJ and press Enter. The Change Customer Number/Job dialog displays

Note: you can also access the Change Customer Number/Job dialog from the Accounts Receivable Menu in the Eagle Browser, or from the GoTo button in Customer Maintenance.

  1. Type the new number in the New Customer/Job boxes.

  2. Click Change. Review the results information.

  3. Click Close.
