This feature is only supported on Open Item and Balance Forward accounts (not Revolving Charge accounts).
If you haven't already, display the Received On Account window, and display the customer.
In the Job box, select ALL to apply the payment across job accounts.
The Jobs tab displays with account balances for all job accounts.
Select the job(s) you want to pay by clicking the box (the first column in the grid) to place a check mark in the box.
(Optional) For Balance Forward accounts, if the account is past due and you want to clear the "Discount to Take" column, click Misc, and select "Clear discount." This clears the "Discount to Take" column and recalculates the "Payment to Take" amount. The discount will be cleared on any job you checkmarked.
Fill in the fields on the screen. At a minimum, you must fill in the "Check #" and "Payment" fields. The other fields are optional, but you may need to fill in some or all of them. For example, you can use the Allowance or Discount boxes to adjust the amount that will be applied as a payment to the account, or the Reference box to type an information note for the payment.
Click Post to post the payment.
