Job's Auth to Charge Names

This field is located on the Main tab of Customer Maintenance when you click the POS hyperlink in the far right column. It determines which charge names display in POS for this job. This field overrides the setting in option 8979 "Authorized to Charge Names used by Job Accounts."

Blank = use the setting in option 8979.

J = Job’s message displays in POS (default).

M = Main account’s message displays in POS.

E = Exception. Use the job's message in POS, but if none exists, then use the main account’s message.

B = Both. Use both the job’s message AND the main account’s message in POS.

Changing this field on a job changes that job. Changing this field on a main account will ask you if you want to make the change to ALL jobs or only to the main account. When adding a new job, this field defaults to how it is set on the main account.
