Setting Up Business Advisor Constants in MBA

Use Function MBA (available only from Network Access) to enter the constants that control how Business Advisor stores and creates data.  

1. From the Network Access Function prompt, type MBA and press <Enter>.  The Modify Business Advisor Constants (MBA) screen displays.

2. Fill in the fields on the screen.  

Months of Business Advisor DataEnter the number of months that data should be kept.  This includes financial ratios, as well as A/R, POS, and Inventory data for each store.

Months for Dept/ClassEnter the number of months that department/class records for Inventory and POS should be kept.  The number you enter must be less than or equal to the number of months entered in the Months of Business Advisor Data Field.  If you enter zero, department/class data for Inventory and POS will not be available in Business Advisor.

Months for Class OnlyEnter the number of months that class-only records for Inventory and POS should be kept.  The number you enter must be less than or equal to the number of months entered in the Months of Business Advisor Data Field.  If you enter zero, class-only data for Inventory and POS will not be available in Business Advisor.

User Code Subset 1 and 2These fields are not used at this time.

3. Press <Change>.
