Click Preferences, Financial Summary Preferences, and Update Industry Ratios.
Follow the prompts on the screen.
Industry ratios can be changed from the Financial screen . A setup wizard walks you through changing the ratios. Industry ratios are saved by business type. There are ten different types, ranging from small hardware stores to home centers.

Note: If you have a multi-store system with multiple business types, the ratios will need to be changed for each business type. If all stores are the same business type, the industry ratios only need to be updated for one store.
