If you're already receiving File Maintenance (EFM) from True Value, skip this procedure.
If you've never received File Maintenance (EFM) before, use the following procedure to set up the control stream so you can receive EFM updates from True Value. Your catalog is updated weekly when you run EFM.
Call True Value's Order Processing department at 1-800-828-3658 and ask them to set you up for async communications on their MCS system.
From the Eagle Browser, click True Value Telecommunications Menu, then click Maintain Transmission Control Streams (MTC). The Maintain Transmission Control Stream window displays.
In the Control Stream Name box, click the arrow and select COTEFM from the drop-down list.
Click on the line that begins with Member#, and enter your member number in place of the XXXX-X. Make sure you don't delete the other information on the line. For example, if your member number is 1234-5, the line should read as follows:
MEMBER#=1234-5
Click Change on the toolbar.
