(For True Value members participating in True Value's Variable Pricing program only)
If you want your variable prices to display in the Epicor Eagle Catalog for Windows, use the procedure below. (Variable pricing is not supported in the Legacy catalog.)
The Electronic Variable Pricing transmission (EVP) creates and updates the variable prices that display in the Catalog. Therefore, the only catalog items that will have a variable price are those for which you've received an EVP record since you completed the setup described below. If you want to have all of your variable prices display in the catalog, request the "bounce" file from True Value. This file contains all True Value items with your specific variable price.
Set the Subsystem field to Telecomm and the Options field to All Options, and click Display.
Set up the following two options:
Click Change.
Close the Options Configuration window.
From Network Access, type MTCC at the Function prompt, and press Enter.
Press <Next Screen> (Page Up) to display screen 2.
Check the "Show Store Retail" field.
If set to NO, the Item List and Item Detail screens display the variable price (if there is one) in the Suggested Retail field. For items that don't have a variable price, True Value's suggested retail displays. The Pricing screen displays the variable price (if there is one) in the Variable Price field.
If you use finelines to determine your variable pricing, a variable price will display even for items that are not in your Inventory file
If set to YES, the catalog's Item List and Item Detail screens display your retail (from Inventory Maintenance) in the Suggested Retail field. However, if the item is not on file in your inventory, the variable price displays, unless there is no variable price, in which case True Value's suggested retail displays. The Pricing screen displays the variable price (if there is one) in the Variable Price field.
If desired, change the "Show Store Retail" field, and press <Change>.
To keep your variable prices up to date, run the Electronic Variable Pricing transmission (EVP) on a weekly basis.
