Adding Items From Catalog While in POS

On the POS Posting Screen, if you enter a number in the Item (SKU) box that is not in your inventory, the system can look for the item in the catalog. If it finds the item, you can then add it to your inventory.

Setup

Before you begin using this feature, you must set up your system using method A or B below.

Using in POS

  1. On the POS Posting Screen, in the Item (SKU) box, enter the item number. The system searches for the item in your inventory file. If it does not find the item, the Catalog dialog box displays.

  2. Press Y to add the item to inventory.
