(formerly known as Flex Forms)
With Enhanced Forms, you associate various form designs to the different transaction types (invoices, order, credits, etc.). This allows you to customize form printing to meet your specific business requirements. You can use either plain paper or pre-printed forms. With pre-printed forms, you can even print to a dot-matrix printer. Both standard and custom Enhanced Forms are available. Standard Enhanced Forms are available to all at no extra cost. To purchase custom Enhanced Forms, contact Business Products at 1-800-837-4273.
You can't combine Enhanced Forms with legacy forms at the same terminal. A terminal can be set up for Enhanced Forms or legacy forms, but not both.
Enhanced Forms setup includes the following:
Enter settings for the various forms in the Options Configuration window.
Assign printers in the Device Configuration window.
For each type of Enhanced Form, you must set up the following in Options Configuration. Available domains are System, Store, and Terminal.
Form type— select from one of 16 pre-designed formats
Sort order— select Location, Line Number, SKU, or Use Code
Location option— select which column should print, Location or Suggested Price
Any of the Enhanced Forms setup topics assume that option 79 "Enhanced Forms on System" in Options Configuration has already been set to Y.
If you will be using pre-printed forms, some additional setup is required before you can fax or email Enhanced Forms. If you will be printing to plain paper, the forms will continue to fax or email after you set up Enhanced Forms; no additional setup is required.
Offline POS won’t print Enhanced Forms until after the next COR and offline refresh has occurred.
