Quantity on Hand = TOTAL inventory in this store for this item
Quantity Available =
In Inventory/Purchasing, the Quantity Available is the Quantity On Hand - Committed Quantity.
In Order Entry, the Quantity Available is the real-time quantity available at the time the item was posted (or refreshed, such as after an item has been changed or repriced) in the Advanced Order Entry posting grid. Note one exception: If you are using the Create Order from Bid (COB) grid as your Advanced Order Entry grid, you do not have access to the Quantity Available column.
Quantity on Order = Quantity on purchase orders
Quantity Committed = Quantity committed to sales orders, including both Reserve Quantity and Release Quantity
Reserve Quantity = Quantity committed to sales orders that HAVE NOT yet been released for picking.
Release Quantity = Quantity on Open Pick Tickets
