(ID# 5091) This PKPS option is only available to Pick Pack Ship users (option 74 "Use Pick/Pack/Ship flow in Order Entry" must be set to Yes) and requires that terminal option 110 Display Backorder Prompt be set to Y.
Setting this option to Yes allows the clerk to "release for picking" only part of the item’s order quantity; the line will be split into two – one for the partial quantity being released, and the other for the quantity deferred. You will need the ability to do a partial release if multiple deliveries for the quantity ordered need to be set up.
