The Action menu is one of the selections available from the Labels Menu Bar. From the Action menu you can select the action you want to perform. For example, you are working in the Label Manager window and want to save your work. From the Action menu, you would select Change.
Listed next to each action is the shortcut key(s) that will perform that action. You can press the shortcut key(s) to perform the action instead of selecting the action from the Action menu.
The selections available from the Action menu vary according to the window you have displayed. The following is a list of Labels actions.
Add— to add a label record to the grid
Add Field— to add a field to a label design
All/None— to place checkmarks by all items in the grid, or to remove the checkmarks.
Change— to save the changes you've made.
Clear— to clear all fields on a label design.
Close Window— to close the Label Designer and return to the Label Manager window.
Delete— to delete an item from the grid.
Delete Field— to delete a field from a label design.
Designer— to display the Label Designer window.
Display— to display an existing label design.
Field— to display the parameters of a field in a label design.
Help— to display the online help topics.
Import— to import label records from RLA or RBL into the grid.
Misc. Procedures— to display a menu that allows you to align fields in a label design, unlock or lock a label design, or set the snap-to factor for a label design.
New— to create a label design from scratch, including setting up the Page Setup Options.
Page— to display the Page Setup Options dialog box.
Print— to print the labels selected with a checkmark in the grid.
Test— to print test labels to see how your label design looks when printed.
