iNet Allow Account SelectionThis option works in conjunction with the MSY option "iNet Employee Order Pro on System", which can only be activated by the Epicor Licensing department, or the Eagle Advice Line.
This option determines whether or not your employees can switch to a different account number after signing on to iNet (you should never give this ability to your customers). By default, the web server accesses the iNet customer account assigned to the user after signing on. Immediately after signing on, your employees with the "select account" option will be given the choice of either using their assigned iNet customer account or entering another customer account number. If the employee enters a different customer account number, the web server will access that account until the employee either signs off or selects another customer by clicking the "Select Account" link on the left menu bar under "Options." (Note: this link only appears on the menu when the "iNet allow account selection" option is set to Yes for the signed-on employee.) The employee must finish any orders or quotes in progress before switching accounts.
Item extended description to show in iNet1=Always show Note Type 8 (default) and 2=Show Note Type 2, unless there is a Note Type 8.
Set this option to 1 if you want Inventory Maintenance Note Type 8 to always show as the extended description for an item in iNet. If there is no Note Type 8, then no extended description will show.
Set this option to 2 if you want Inventory Maintenance Note Type 8 to show (if there is one). If there is no Note Type 8, then display Note Type 2 (extended description shown in POS).
Moreover, adding a Note Type 8 for an item is only necessary when you need a different extended description than what is shown at POS.
Mask Manufacturer Information in Inet Order Pro and eStoreThis option determines if the Manufacture Code and Manufacturer Part Number display in iNet Catalog, Order Pro and e-Store. Setting this option to Yes suppresses these values from displaying to the user.
