Minimum Requirements for Welcome Page

(iNet OrderPro and Accounts On-Line users only)

The following guidelines are designed to assist you in building your welcome page for your iNet 1.0 implementation. The guidelines are simple and will help to ensure a smooth and timely implementation of your Web Site.

Design Guidelines:

Your welcome page must conform to the following:

1. It must be comprised of a single HTML page.

2. If you want to use images on your page, use the following guidelines:  

   • Images must be provided along with your HTML page and all image references should be to images/<file_name>

   • Pages with links to images will be rejected

   • Supported image formats include:

• JPEG File Interchange format (.jpg)

• 1. • Graphics Interchange Format (.gif)

3. The page may include links to other sites.  

4. Links must target (launch) a new browser window

5. Remember to keep your page simple.  Many of your contractors will only have a 28.8K to 56K baud connection to the Internet. The more graphics you put on the page, the slower it will load. This can discourage customers and may cause them to abandon their use of your site.
