Two utilities must be run to create search indexes for iNet applications: DRILL and BDI. DRILL creates a search index that allows your customers to search for inventory through a category drill-down process. BDI (Build Descriptive Index) creates a search index so that your customers can search for items by Description, Short Description, or Extended Description types 1 or 3. Access to both DRILL and BDI requires security bit 316.
Both DRILL and BDI should be run in a weekly queue so that your search indexes are always up-to-date.
