Use Hazardous Codes Maintenance to modify the default hazardous codes, add your own, or delete an existing hazardous code.
Click Misc, and select Z – Hazardous Code Maintenance. The Hazardous Code Maintenance dialog displays.
To add a new hazardous item code, click Add. In the dialog that displays, enter a hazardous code (up to 6 characters), a Code Description, and then fill in the appropriate fields below. When finished, click OK. When the first dialog re-displays, you can click Cancel to exit, or select Add, Change, or Delete as desired.
To change an existing hazardous item code, select the code from the drop-down list, and click Change. In the dialog that displays, make the desired changes, and click OK. When the first dialog re-displays, you can click Cancel to exit, or select Add, Change, or Delete as desired.
To delete an existing hazardous item code, select the code from the drop-down list, and click Delete. When the Delete Hazardous Code warning displays, click Yes to continue. When the first dialog re-displays, you can click Cancel to exit, or select Add, Change, or Delete as desired.
In iNet, when a user adds an item with a hazardous code to his/her shopping cart, a warning message displays to alert them. iNet also highlights the hazardous item. The message/highlight only displays immediately after adding the item. If the user returns to the shopping cart again, an icon displays next to the item number to indicate that the item is hazardous.
