This field in the Maintain Bill of Materials window determines if the component’s quantity prints on POS orders/invoices. This field does not affect the shop order, which always prints the extended quantity. This field is only relevant if the component’s "Print?" flag is set to B (print on both order/invoice and shop order) or I (print on order/invoice). The following describes the various settings for this field.
Component Quantity = the component description and quantity prints, and the quantity is the amount of the component in one BOM.
Extended Quantity = the component description and quantity print, and the quantity is the extended quantity, meaning the quantity of the BOM that has been ordered, times the component quantity, and taking into account if this is a multi-level BOM.
No Quantity = the component description prints, but with no quantity.
