The Labels application comes with several different label templates that Epicor has designed for you, including price labels, bin labels without bar code, and bin labels with bar code. Listed below is some general information about templates.
Templates cannot be modified; however, they can be saved under a different name. Then the saved copy of the template can be modified.
Template page setups may not be correct for you printer, particularly if you have a roll printer. In these cases, it's best to save a template under a different name (so it can be modified), make sure the printer driver is set for the label being used, and then match that setup in the "page setup" of your saved copy of the template. In addition, always test to make sure the labels are printing correctly before printing a large amount of labels.
Templates that print bar codes always use the UPC Half Narrow font.
Templates that print prices print Retail as the selling price, and List Price as a reference.
Templates always use either Arial or Arial Narrow fonts. These fonts must exist on your PC or the labels will not print correctly (or may not print at all). If these fonts do not exist on your PC, you can save the template(s) under a different name, and then change the font on the saved copy to a font that exists on your PC.
