Epicor Eagle™ Labels for Windows users only.
The Field Parameters dialog box displays when you double-click on a field in your label design, or when you highlight a field in your label design and click the Format Field button on the toolbar. The fields in the Field Parameters dialog are described below.
Field |
Description |
Data Field |
For Inventory Labels or POS Flex-Labels: The data field that will print on the label. You can also choose "None" if you want to add text to the label rather than an actual data field. For CSV Labels: The data field in the CSV file that will print. For example, if the item description is in the third field of the RQ routine, select "Field 3" when placing the description field on the label. |
Formatted Price |
Prints "$" or "¢ " in addition to the price. Note that "$" or "¢ " don't display in the Label Designer, but will print on the labels. |
Maximum Characters |
The maximum number of characters you want to print in this field. For example, if space is limited on the label, you may indicate a Maximum Characters for a longer field like Description. Note: If you leave this field blank, the system automatically enters the number of characters in the Test Value field. |
Test Value |
The value for that field that will show in the Designer, so that a label design looks similar to how it will look when it's printed. |
Field Title |
A title that will print before the field for identification purposes. For example, you may want the field title "Price" to print before the retail price on a label. |
Don't Print Title Field if Blank |
If the data value is blank, the title field won't print. For example, let's say one of the fields on the label is UPC, and its Field Title is UPC. If a particular item for which you're printing labels doesn't have a UPC, then the title "UPC" won't print. |
Font Size |
The font size in points. |
Font |
The name of the font. |
Font Bold |
The font will print in Bold. |
Font Underline |
The font will print Underlined. |
Font Italics |
The font will print in Italics |
Wrap text for extended description |
Print the extended description to the maximum characters per line. |
Wrap text for regular description |
Print the item description to the maximum characters per line. |
Rotate |
The field will be rotated by the number of degrees you enter in this field. Note that the field won't display its rotation in the Label Designer, but the field will be properly rotated on the printed labels. |
Justification |
Select whether you want the information on the label to print left justified, centered, or right justified. |
