To assign (map) a drive letter to a network computer or folder
In My Computer or Network Neighborhood, click on the toolbar.
Click the Path box, and then type the path to the resource you want. For example:
\\computername\3apps\userdata
If a password is required, Windows prompts you.
If the toolbar is not visible, click the View menu, and then click Toolbar.
You can also use the right mouse button to click My Computer or Network Neighborhood, and then click Map Network Drive.
